Mediation Board of Trinidad & Tobago

National Contract Management Association (NCMA)

NCMA does not establish detailed criteria for CPE programs, however, it does require that CPE contribute to the designated contract manager’s professional proficiency and professional growth.

You can self report SFHG training for CPEs, providing NCMA with a copy of our course syllabus (as proof of content and hours), and a copy of the certificate you receive at the end of our public courses (as proof of completion).  NCMA would then process your request for CPEs for that training.  Visit the NCMA website (ncmahq.org) for details.

Stitt Feld Handy Group training relates to the following NCMA Acceptable Topic areas for Group Programs:

  • Contract Management
  • Disputes Resolution
  • Termination of Contracts
  • Contract Change Negotiation

Project Management Institute (PMI)

Negotiation is one of the core PMBOK Knowledge Areas for PMPs.  While our Stitt Feld Handy Group negotiation content is not pre-approved for PMI PDUs, we believe that our content in several courses is consistent with the PMBOK content as noted below.  For PMI continuing education requirements, you can self-report SFHG training for PDUs, providing PMI with a copy of our course syllabus (as proof of content and hours), and a copy of the certificate you receive at the end of our public courses (as proof of completion).  PMI would then process your request for PDU’s for that training.

Stitt Feld Handy Group would be considered a “third party trainer” under PMI’s PDU process.  The general PMI rule of thumb is that “traditional face-to-face methodology shall be assigned one PDU for each contact hour of instructional interaction”.  While we cannot guarantee that our training would be approved for PDUs at that rate or at all, you are welcome to check with PMI in advance of registering for our workshops.

Those courses include:

Course Date / Hours / Credits
Become A Powerful Negotiator 21 hours of negotiation skills
Alternative Dispute Resolution 28 hours of negotiation, conflict
resolution and communication skills
Online Negotiations 6-8 hours of negotiation skills
Online Difficult Conversations 6-8 hours of conflict resolution skills
